A promising vision for San Pawls' Bay is the Honey Badger Charity Youth Club and The No Guilt Cafe Community Hub | Charities Malta

We're developing an innovative community hub in San Pawl's Bay that will transform how locals connect, dine, and support each other. This visionary charity project combines three essential elements: the Honey Badger Charity Youth Club,  No Guilt Cafe, and a 24-hour coffee shop, all housed with your help a historic building that's waiting to be restored to its former glory.

Currently, we're at a crucial first step: getting donations to establish ourselves as a registered NGO in Malta. While our vision is clear and the impact potential is enormous—especially in San Pawl's Bay, Malta's most populous region—we need initial funding for proper NGO registration and accountancy services that can have estimated costs of 2,000. This foundation will enable us to launch larger fundraising initiatives through Malta's leading charity events, including a Charity Boxing Event and later a 12-hour Telethon.

Once established, the Honey Badger Charity Youth Club and  No Guilt Cafe | Charity Malta will serve dual purposes: providing free meals to the homeless for three hours daily while operating as a public restaurant outside these hours. All proceeds will support our community programs and youth initiatives, including premises for the Honey Badger Charity Youth Club. Making us one of Malta's most innovative charity concepts.

It’s alarming to realize that Maltese homeless shelters don’t accept individuals over 55 years old. Are we truly compassionate as a society, especially after the lessons of COVID-19? The pandemic showed us the importance of community and humanity, yet vulnerable groups, especially Seniors and Youths, continue to be excluded. Tell me what youths can do for free nowadays in sport and recreation?

Despite this wealth, social issues like poverty, unemployment, and limited resources for youth persist. Many charities in Malta, including soup kitchens, are often tied to the Church, leaving gaps for independent, innovative approaches to community support.

We’re organizing a community clean-up event with local youths, promoting our vision for a revitalized and vibrant area. Very Soon. We’re hopeful that Mayor Censu Galea and the San Pawl’s Bay Council will support this mission as we work toward transforming the Community and the Honey Badger Youth Charity Club & No Guilt Cafe into a top charity. Moving into a site with lots of character. Our goal is to secure a historic building that holds the potential to enrich Bugibba with a dedicated, youth-centered space.  The signing of the contract for a venue will allow us to make a greater impact. We hope for a possible Charity Boxing event to finish off with, including hosting our highly anticipated 12-hour Telethon Event. Creating a platform for long-term support for the community."

With public visibility through clean-up events like this, the upcoming, Charity Boxing, and a televised telethon in Saint Paul’s Bay, we’re eager to draw attention to the initiative. Once a new site is secured, this televised event will help rally further support, bringing us closer to a signed contract for a permanent community hub in the area."

​The Honey Badger Youth Club Charity, No Guilt Cafe, and the 24/7 coffee shop (soon to be named by your vote) will bring to light a visionary project in Bugibba, Malta. All three together, will create a community hub to transform Bugibba landscape, offering a vital haven for the Honey Badger Youth Club's youth program. The No Guilt Café and 24/7 coffee shop combined as focal points are integral to this initiative, designed to foster focus, creativity, and healthier lifestyle choices for the whole family.

At No Guilt Café, dedicated to offering a selection of plant-based dishes that replicate the taste and texture of traditional favorites like burgers, minced meat pies, and Shepherd’s pie. These dishes we want to be crafted so close to the real thing that even meat-eaters won't notice the difference.
Our approach is subtle—there will be no overt advertising for vegans on the building, thus including meat-eater customers. Instead, we will include a small "v" on the menu to indicate vegetarian. We'll focus on reaching vegetarians and vegans through social media, vegan groups, and word of mouth. Additionally, our menu will feature a variety of healthy vegan bowls, similar to the offerings at the delicious Eeetwell franchise, except we will have real plants growing inside our cafes. Our concept is designed to appeal to everyone, not just vegetarians or vegans.

At No Guilt Cafe, we will give back to the community by offering free meals to the homeless and less fortunate currently serviced only by Church Charities, three hours a day. Based on a social worker's referral. This initiative complements existing services, like the significant soup kitchen at OFM Valletta and the early afternoon soup kitchen at Dar Papa Frangisku Homeless Shelter. We together desire to ensure, simultaneously those destitute access to three cooked meals a day, with the addition of No Guilt Cafe's help in the early evening. We are under obligation to be the first restaurant open to the public that is fully committed to promoting the well-being of the general population and supporting those in need.
